Still early in the journey, and deliberately taking the long way round.
Python first
Automating small things, scripting real workflows, and keeping the language readable. If Python can do it without a framework maze, Python does it.
AI curious
Working through neural networks and applied ML — more time understanding the maths and evaluation than chasing the newest release.
Focus
The three things that take up most of my time right now.
Applied machine learning
Training, evaluating, and actually shipping models — with honest baselines and an eye on how they fail, not just how they score.
Backend & tooling
APIs, databases, queues, and the small automation scripts that save an hour a week. Boring, reliable, well-tested.
Web fundamentals
Semantic HTML, accessible interfaces, and performance budgets that hold up on a mid-range phone over a slow connection.
Stack
Tools I reach for by default. Opinions change; these keep earning their place.
